If i make sourdough, combining all ingredients costs, including dependable flour, it could cost me a total of around $6 a loaf (dependable flour is expensive!)
but when i take a break and buy, it could very much cost double or triple!
Wow, i live in lakewood the avrge i would say is $16-$20 depending where you buy it from
I recently began buying sourdough for my family for Shabbos, and i have found that if i buy from a woman selling from her house, (I live out of town), it ends up costing between $10-12 a loaf, and they are usually worth the price, but from a grocery, which arent usually too bad, between $7-10
